The Graduate Nurse Program (GNP) aims to facilitate your transition from a novice nurse practitioner to a confident, competent registered nurse. During this program graduates are supported by the clinical expertise of her/his colleagues, Clinical Nurse Educators and Preceptors. It is a structured program of paid study days and debriefing sessions that focus on clinical decision-making, patient management and professional practice.

Two – six month clinical rotations
Comprehensive graduate specific orientation program
Supernumerary days at commencement of each rotation
Four (4) structured paid study days
Additional two (2) paid professional development days
Regular debriefing sessions
Graduate specific education sessions
Located across three campuses, Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown
Assigned a ward preceptor to provide clinical support
Clinical Nurse Educators on each ward
