Our pregnancy care clinics are held at Sunshine Hospital and within the local community.
Women attend the Pregnancy Care Clinic for a booking-in visit and for specialised pregnancy care if required.
A midwife booking visit occurs around 14-16 weeks into your pregnancy.
Pregnancy care visits
At your first visit a midwife will discuss your health background, your pregnancy and any concerns you may have. Your preferred model of care will also be discussed.

Perinatal Emotional Health Program
The Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) is the Victorian Government response to the National Perinatal Depression Initiative,, and is committed to early detection, support and treatment for pregnant women experiencing feelings such as sadness and anxiety.
