Graduate Nurse Program
Program Aim:
The Graduate Nurse Program is a comprehensive program which offers the option of an additional one year Grad+ Program, to assit you with transitioning to the role of registered nurse. During this program graduates are supported by clinical expertise including Clinical Nurse Educators and Preceptors and Clinical Support Nurses. It is a structured program of paid study days and debriefing sessions that focus on clinical decision-making, patient management and professional practice.

Criteria for Completion |
Participants can elect to complete an additional 2nd year
Further assists with transitioning to the role of registered nurse
Option to stream into areas of interest
Participants offered two further rotations in speciality areas
Participants to complete two university accredited subjects at no cost
Participants to receive individualised career planning
- Satisfactory clinical hours;
- Professional objectives for each rotation;
- Satisfactory Performance Development Review for each rotation;
- Development and delivery of a project for Professional Development purposes for each rotation;
- Participation in Graduate Nurse Study Days;
- A certificate will be presented on successful completion of the Graduate Nurse Program
