Western Health has highly effective collaborative partnerships for research throughout Australia and the world with universities, hospitals, research groups and industry. The Western Health Office for Research provides a focal point for our research efforts. Western Health's Research objectives are to:
Promote Western Health as a leading centre for research
Imbed a culture of quality improvement through research and implementation of research findings in the organisation
Encourage and support staff from all disciplines [clinical and non-clinical] to participate in research activities
Facilitate the translation of research findings into clinical practice
Encourage multi-disciplinary and inter-organisational research to better address the complex clinical care environment
Foster collaborative relationships to optimise opportunities for research
