"I met so many different people when I volunteer and I always go home feeling great about what I have done that day. I speak to the patients and their families when I collect the patient and I know that they feel much happier knowing that it is a volunteer and not a taxi driver taking their parent to the hospital" Phong aged 32 ( volunteering for 3 years )
"Just being able to make someone a cuppa is a great thing to be able to do. I really enjoy being able to sit and talk to some of the patients and their families when I know that they are a bit worried about the appointment that they are going to. It just makes me feel great!" Maria aged 62 (volunteering for 20 years)
