In general visiting hours are from 2.00pm- 8.00pm. Please speak to the nurse in charge of the ward that you are visiting if you would like to visit at any other time.
Western Health hopes to make your stay in hospital as comfortable as possible. Here is some information about our facilities that you may want to know before your visit.
Western Health provides a choice of meals and will supply special diets where this is part of your medical care or to meet your cultural needs. Hot and cold drinks are available at morning tea, afternoon tea and supper. Consideration can be given to relatives or friends supplying familiar dishes. However, food should not be supplied to patients by visitors without the permission of nursing staff as it may not be suited to treatment. BreakfastDelivery time is 7.45am – 8.10am for all wards. Free car parking is available opposite the main entrance of the hospital in Railway Crescent, with limited spaces also available on Stewart Street.
If you are travelling by train, the nearest station is Williamstown Beach, which is located across the road from the hospital.
