Three members of the Western Health community have been recognised in the Queen's Birthday honours list.
Vietnamese interpreter Phong Nguyen (pictured) was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to the Vietnamese community.
Leslie Mather from Hoppers Crossing, who has volunteered as a visitor guide at Footscray Hospital for almost 25 years, was also awarded a medal of the Order of Australia (OAM). He was featured in this week's Star Weekly.
And former Western Health board member Vivienne Nguyen, who was appointed Chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission in late 2019, was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her service to the multicultural community of Victoria.
