Frontline workers deserve our patience and support

 

That's how Allison Lamb, the Nurse Unit Manager at Melbourne Showgrounds vaccination hub, run by Western Health, feels when people direct their anger and frustration at healthcare workers.

Allison was interviewed by Channel 7 Melbourne for a report on violent and aggressive behaviour at vaccination hubs in Victoria.

Thankfully, most Victorians treat our healthcare workers with respect, recognising the important work they are doing to keep our community safe.

But as we continue to deliver COVID-19 vaccines and carry out testing, it's an important reminder that frontline workers deserve our patience and support.
