A much anticipated event on the Western Health calendar, BreastWest Night of Nights is the annual fundraiser for BreastWest which provides financial and personal support to women undergoing breast cancer treatment.
The event is held in partnership with the Western Bulldogs who chaperone twelve courageous women, all current breast cancer patients, down the catwalk, showcasing the latest designer fashions. The event is held annually in July at the Moonee Valley Racecourse and includes live performances by some of Australia's well-known entertainers including Anthony Callea and Kate Cebrano.
Western Health provides 6,000 personal consultations a year for women with breast cancer. The Breast Care Unit provides a quality service for these women, many of whom face significant financial burden as a result of their diagnosis. Donations to BreastWest provide personal support and practical care for women undergoing breast cancer treatment including BreastCare packs, transport costs to hospital appointments, wig and breast prostheses and masectomy bras.
BreastWest Night of Nights Post-poned for 2019
We wish to advise that due to a number of conflicting and competing priorities, BreastWest Night of Nights for 2019 has been postponed for 12 months to mid-2020.
In an exciting move, the Night of Nights event will be relocating in 2020 to a new venue, as Moonee Valley undergoes significant capital upgrades. We are keen to look at how we can refresh and revitalise the event and planning will commence in the new financial year.
Stay tuned for updates on this important Western Health event.
