Western Health invites you to the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Open Day.
We are very excited that the new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s at Sunshine Hospital will soon be officially opened, allowing more women to give birth and access children’s services closer to home in Melbourne’s west.

Western Health will be hosting a community open day to celebrate the occasion on Sunday 5 May, featuring tours of key areas in the new building along with a range of activities and entertainment for the whole family. Including a free family photo booth and Teddy Bear Hospital, so make sure to bring along your favourite stuffed toys for a checkup!”

We recommend taking public transport on the day. The hospital is a short walk (650 metres) from Ginifer Train Station, with bus route 408 stopping at the front.
