As Chief Executive, I thank you for choosing Western Health for your next exciting step in your career.
It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Western Health. I hope you will find your time here rewarding and challenging, and I encourage you to take up the many and varied opportunities for professional growth and development on offer.
Melbourne’s west is one of the fastest-growing areas in Australia and each year we provide healthcare to thousands of more patients.
The communities we serve are socially, culturally and linguistically diverse, and this diversity presents a number of challenges. At Western Health, you will be working with a patient population with high levels of chronic disease and complex medical conditions.
At Western Health we aim to provide evidence-based care (Best Care) to ensure good health outcomes for patients and to minimise the onset of functional decline. Positive patient experience is at the centre of everything we do, regardless of whether you are in a clinical role or a non-clinical role.
Adj.Prof Russell Harrison
Chief Executive
