The Western Health Community Raceday held on Saturday 13 December 2008 was a huge success despite torrential rain and strong winds.  This year, the $30,000 raised this year will be allocated towards the significant upgrade to The Williamstown Hospital Dialysis Unit, an exciting and much needed project  for our community.

Western Health's brave volunteers paid no attention to the weather as they manned the turnstiles and made several sweeps of the bookies ring rattling tins and getting a good response.  Upstairs in the Skyline Restaurant Western Health suppliers, suporters and community members also made generous donations. 

This event is Western Health's flagship fundraising event and the organnisation greatly appreciates the support shown by Western Health suppliers, supporters and our community.
