The inaugural BreastWest Mother's Day Fashion Parade was held on Tuesday May 4 and was another sell-out - attracting a crowd of over 400 to watch the parade held at Lakeside Receptions, Taylors Lake.
The atmosphere was electric as people tucked into their entrees and anticipated the models grand entrance down the runway. When the ladies walked the catwalk - looking glamorous and wearing the latest trends, the crowd applauded and whistled.
After the parade everyone hit the dance floor and boogied to some classics - like Footloose and Grease, performed by Police Band 'Code One' who were fantastic.
The event raised over $35,000 which will contribute to purchasing items off the BreastWest shopping list to assist women in the West being treated for breast cancer.
It was an inspiring and entertaining evening for everyone who attended. Congratulations to the BreastWest committee who's months of hard work made the night so successful.
A special thanks to:
All our sponsors, our amazing MC Sally Cockburn aka Dr Feelgood, Code One, Lakeside Receptions, Voyager for all the fabulous clothing, Bella Rouge for doing all the hair and makeup, City West Water, Qenos and the Western Bulldogs.
