​​​​​​​​​Following on from the success of the 2017 Western Health Foundation Charity Cycle Challenge to Cambodia, which raised over $30,000 for patient care at Western Health, we are delighted to announce that the next Cycle Challenge will take place in…. New Zealand!

Dates: Sunday 18 March (starting in Queenstown) to Thursday 22 March 2018 (finishing in Dunedin)

Duration: Five days and four nights

Cycling distance: 155.5km

Price: $1700NZD (approximately $1550AUD) per person, plus flights, travel insurance and a minimum fundraising contribution of $1000 for your chosen service at Western Health.

Included: Accommodation, fully guided tour with a tour leader, bike hire, daily continental breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, four lunches and three evening meals.

You will spend four days cycling the famed Otago Central Rail Trail on the South Island from Clyde to Middlemarch, staying in historic gold mining towns, plus plenty of side-trips to visit some of the hidden secrets of New Zealand. Along the way you can enjoy some of Central Otago's gastronomic delights, including local wine, meats, fruits and other tasty treats.
