GNP Application Process

Application Criteria

Documents are to be uploaded electronically and include:

Letter of application (no more than one page).
Concise curriculum vitae including a list of 2nd and 3rd year placements (hospital, type of ward/experience and number of days).
A certified transcript of all results (key to results to be included).
Complete copies of two recent clinical assessments, at least one of which must be from an adult acute health care setting.
Names and accurate contact details, including phone numbers and email addresses of two nursing referees who have directly supervised your undergraduate clinical experience, at least one of which must be from an adult acute health care setting, preferably from a 3^rd year placement. Please discuss any alternatives with the Coordinator, Transition to Practice Programs prior to application.
One recent passport photograph.
Please note: hard copies of uploaded documents and photo (name on back for ID purposes) must be supplied at interview.
Documents must be submitted in a PDF format. Clinical Reports are required to be scanned together to create one larger document. Your university or council library should be able to assist here or Officeworks for a small fee.

All applications to the 2012 Western Health Graduate Nurse Program must be submitted online (Refer to link below)
Attend an interview upon request in August 2011. (Telephone interviews will be conducted for New Zealand and interstate applicants).
