Hazeldean Nursing Home, located only a short distance from The Williamstown Hospital, opened in 1976 and offers 40 beds, including four single rooms, and nine shared rooms each with four beds.

Since opening, the nursing home has added an activities room, activities kitchen and laundry, a sunroom, and ensuites to the nine shared rooms.

Hazeldean has 24-hour nursing cover, and local General Practitioners provide medical care to residents. Local pharmacies in Williamstown ensure services 24 hours a day.

The close proximity of Williamstown Hospital means that some hospital services are provided at Hazeldean, including social work. Hazeldean also has a visiting podiatrist and physiotherapist, as well as a comprehensive activities program providing lifestyle and leisure activities.
