The Radiology Department is accredited by the RANZCR for 8 Registrar and 1 Fellow positions.
Western Health Radiology equipment is all digital, with PACS currently being installed. The Health Service operates 3.0 T and 1.5 T magnets and three (3) 64 slice CTs.
The following positions are available for 2009:
Fellow - 1 x position (Suitable for radiology registrars who have completed at least 4 years of accredited training and the Part II DRANZCR examination at commencement.) The Fellowship position in Body Imaging and Intervention is available. The position is based in the Radiology Departments at Western and Sunshine Hospitals with no external rotations.
Registrar - 1 x position (Suitable for applicants who are at least 2 years post MBBS)
Direct Application to the Health Service for both positions.
