Western Health offers a broad and relevant experience for doctors training for general practice.

Rotations accredited for GP training include Paediatrics (Emergency), Paediatrics (Wards), Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Emergency, as well as many surgical and medical rotations.

Western Health also offers a Prevocational General Practice Placement Program (PGPPP) position with Federation Clinic in Wodonga but we are also currently engaging metropolitan practices for PGPPP.


                                                                 

In partnership with the Victorian Metropolitan Alliance, Western Health has a GP recruitment and retention program where selected GP registrars complete all their hospital and general practice experience in the western area.
