Description

The Addiction Medicine Service (Western Health) provides comprehensive medical care for patients with a wide range of drug related disorders and receives referrals statewide. 

This full time position offers accredited training in Addiction Medicine for those who are interested in attaining the RAChAM.  For those who complete their first part FRACP, it can be combined with a period of advanced medical training to acheive a combined FRACP/FAChAM.  For those undertaking psychiatry training, advanced training in psychiatry can be combined with a period of addiction training to achieve a combined FRANZCP/FAChAM.  This position can also provide accredited training for those undertaking training in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine and General Practice.
